About Bedspace Trust
The Bedspace Trust aims to, through the provision of housing and accommodation, provide relief to those in need. Often the individuals we work with are placed into vulnerable environments by no fault of their own. Whether it is their age, disability, financial hardship or due to being in or leaving local authority care including those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We also aim to provide support services relating to housing, benefits and financial life skills to assist with the transition to independent living.
At Bedspace Trust, we are committed to safeguarding and protecting children and adults in our work. This role involves working closely with children and is therefore exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. As part of our recruitment, selection, and appointment processes we conduct a range of vetting checks including Enhanced DBS and reference checks, to ensure that only those who are suitable to work with children and those we care for and support are appointed.
If successfully appointed references will be taken for all roles where you have worked with adults and children; additionally, a full work history needs to be included in your CV with explanations for gaps.
Please note that at present Bedspace are unable to provide sponsorships.
